'Countdown to Easter' Hand painted Candle

Our Countdown to Easter hand painted candle helps children journey through Lent in a simple, meaningful way. Used like an Advent candle, it is marked to burn a little each day, showing how many days remain until Easter.

Each number is done in the correct liturgical colour through the day and we have an accompanying downloadable work sheet, check out faith basics for kids, to help children understand the colours! 

As the candle burns, it creates a quiet moment for Lenten reflection, prayer, or family conversation; helping children understand the season, practise patience, and prepare their hearts for Easter.

As each candle is individually hand-painted, slight variations make every piece unique.

✔ The candle itself has been sourced from Charles Farris who have been supplying UK made candles to churches since 1845. Every candle contains at least 5% beeswax.

Important note: If the paint causes uneven burning or raises any concerns, please extinguish the candle and carefully remove the painted area (up to the level you wish to burn) before relighting. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always burn in a well-ventilated area.
