This crucifix depicts Jesus on the Cross with the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) on the left and the Chalice and Eucharist on the right, reminding us of the fulfilment of Jesus's perfect sacrifice. On the back is written 'Ecce Agnus Dei, ecce qui tollit peccata mundi' (Behold the Lamb of God, behold Him, who takes away the sins of the world'.
John designed these crucifixes with the intention of the owner to focus their meditation of specific aspects of Christ and the Catholic Church.
