Each crucifix is hand-crafted and individually painted to represent a specific area of Catholic devotion to help with reflection and meditation during prayer.
Each Crucifix is individual and unique. So far there are 3 completed available designs:
The first is a simple depitction of the crucifixion reminding us of Jesus's death on the cross for our salvation.
The second depicts Jesus on the Cross with the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) on the left and the Chalice and Eucharist on the right, reminding us of the fulfilment of Jesus's perfect sacrifice. On the back is written 'Ecce Agnus Dei, ecce qui tollit peccata mundi' (Behold the Lamb of God, behold Him, who takes away the sins of the world'.
The third is to help with contemplation of the suffering of Jesus on the Cross, depicting the instruments of His torture and death, the 5 wounds of Christ with an image of the Holy Face of Jesus above. On the back is written 'Amor meus crucifixus est' (My love is crucified).

Each crucifix is approximately 28.5 cm high by 20cm wide and is ready to hang with a hook attached to the back.
